Western Disney - Kenai

I was very inspired by 's Disney University series, and wanted to create a fun Disney series of my own. I am taking Disney characters, placing them in a 1800s Western town, and imagining what roles they would play. The most fun part about this project is the wardrobe. I will try to post one every week. 



Kenai was a young, ambitious warrior when his oldest brother,Sitka, was attacked and injured by a bear.  Wanting revenge for his brother, Kenai went after the bear and killed it. Kenai did not realize that he had tracked the wrong bear. The bear he had killed was in fact the Spirit Bear that protected his tribe. As punishment, the Great Spirit transformed Kenai into a bear so that he could take care of the Spirit Bear's cub until it was old enough to protect the tribe. When Kenai fulfilled his duty, he was transformed back into a man who was much wiser than the foolish young warrior he had been before. He put aside his warrior's spear and learned the ways of the medicine man, becoming the spiritual leader of the Lakota Tribe. He still keeps a protective eye on his brother bear who he came to call Koda.
