Morning Walks

Dacia's mother was growing increasingly old and her joints were stiff. She only went on hunts now to advise the other lionesses. The Old One's age prevented her from being active with her daughter, so she encouraged Dacia to go on walks with King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi.
Sarabi was heavily pregnant and she tired easily. She insited that Mufasa finish his walk while she and Dacia walked back.
"Be careful Sarabi."
"Dont' worry King Mufasa," Dacia said, "I'll protect her. Those hyenas won't dare mess with me."
Mufasa and Sarabi shared a smile at the amusing little cub.
